William "Bill" Schultz (1938 or 1939 – 18 April 2015) was a New Zealand rugby league player who played for Eastern Suburbs and the national team. ==Playing career== Schultz played for the Point Chevalier Pirates and Marist Saints in the Auckland Rugby League competition. An Auckland representative, he played for Auckland against France in 1964 and Great Britain in 1966.〔Coffey, John and Bernie Wood ''Auckland, 100 years of rugby league, 1909-2009'', 2009. ISBN 978-1-86969-366-4.〕 He toured Australia with the New Zealand Kiwis in 1959 and toured France and England in 1965, scoring one test try. In 1968, Schultz moved to Australia to play for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters in the New South Wales Rugby League competition for two seasons. He finished his rugby league career coaching the Point Chevalier Pirates.
